Bush-Bashing - A Family Affair

When pseudo-president Bush came to Lexington in October 2003 to speak at a fund-raiser for Ernie Fletcher, Republican candidate for governor, the huge crowd that turned out to express their opinion of Bush administration policy included a respectable number of Simpsons.


Above: I found my father on one street corner, surrounded by an enthusiastic crowd. (The gentleman behind him, partially obscured by one of the beauties, is Richard Mitchell, one of the organizers of the rally).

Below: On another corner, I found a group containing my brother (in shorts), my mother, a family friend, and the Yankee sister-in-law. Somewhere about half a block behind them was my sister, but I never managed to get a picture of her.
