It might be the cooler weather, or some other reason, but the campus crime reports are once again beginning to have a certain level of amusement. This week's log has a couple of amusing entries.

Nov. 19. A woman told police that a man wearing sunglasses and driving a white Chevrolet Lumina was watching her as she left the Baptist Student Union on Columbia Ave at 3:01 PM

I didn't realize watching women was now considered criminal behavior. I'd better be more careful. On Columbia Avenue, surrounded by sinful sorority sisters, maybe the poor man was just glad to see a devout Baptist.

Nov. 19. A strong smell of marijuana smoke coming from the third floor of Holmes Hall; a person investigated at 6:11 PM.
Nov. 19. A smell of marijuana smoke coming from the first floor of Holmes Hall investigated at 7:13 PM.

Hey guys!! The cops are here! Maybe we should move the party to another floor! Or, since the third floor smell was "strong" and the first floor smell wasn't, maybe the folks on first were just geting a whiff drifting down the stairwell.
